Memorial in Hukvaldy

Memorial in Hukvaldy

Foundation became the owner of the Leoš Janáček Memorial in Hukvaldy in 1997. In autumn 1999 the complete renovation of the memorial had started and it was re-opened in July 2000. The Leoš Janáček Memorial in Hukvaldy documents Janáček’s relationship to his native place and the link between the genius loci and the composer’s works. The new interactive exhibition was opened in 2019.

Here, the most interested visitors can also enjoy listening to Janáček’s works or buy booklets or CDs.
